ABOUT ME: Hi, I am Abigail, a freelance digital marketer with experience in social media marketing, content creation, website updates and design, and copywriting. I am a graduate from the University of Plymouth with a First Class degree in Marketing (Digital and Social Media). I have been doing freelance work for over a year, working with charities and small businesses, helping them with their marketing strategies and scheduling content. I have helped my clients significantly improve their reach and interactions by implementing a hashtag strategy and posting consistently. I offer content creation and scheduling across social media platforms, copywriting and website update services, and advice on improving current marketing strategies. Whilst working for an estate agent, I helped them advertise a talk to raise awareness of potential changes to the Renters' Rights Act. The advertising campaign consisted of social media marketing, posters, press releases and brochures. I coordinated the release of social media posts and press materials to ensure the campaign launched consistently across all channels. Maintaining consistent messaging and branding across all marketing assets was crucial to the campaign’s success. I have worked with a charity to help them advertise a fundraiser. The event was a winter ball, inviting supporters to enjoy a sit-down meal and an opportunity to network. As they were looking to save money, we focused on an organic marketing strategy, posting consistently on Instagram. 120 supporters attended the event and raised money for the charity as a result. I am currently working with an accountancy firm as they relaunch their website and assist with their marketing efforts. I am working to design an aesthetic and functional space for them to increase lead generation. Helping them stand out from their competitors is a fun challenge I am achieving effectively. I work with my clients to find the best digital marketing strategy for them, allowing them to play on their strengths, highlight their business and reach their target audience effectively.
