ABOUT ME: I’m a freelance video editor who specializes in YouTube Content, Documentary/Film production, and advertising. SKILLS: I'm an independent video editor who since 2024 has amassed a portfolio of professional works in collaboration with other groups. The majority of my recent work has been accessed through the University of Plymouth, where I have helped create advertising for their Alumni Team, and have collaborated with the uni and Breakwater Productions as the sole editor for a 10 minute documentary. Beyond this, I have worked sporadically on my own YouTube channels, most recently with PretensionLoves, where I analyse film. This and other aspects of my work concern a balance between subjective critique with historical and social context. Whether the form is of a critical perspective, or it suits the needs of advertising, I aim to craft work that provides the audience a sense of introspection through what they know, and developing their knowledge from there. Furthermore, I am interested in challenging common conceptions in art by exploring underrepresented social dynamics and contrasting them against conventional narratives. I have a strong passion in creating a channel which best represents a voice that needs an appropriate vessel to communicate through. This requires an understanding of where that perspective is coming from, which I have proven that I can do so. Ultimately, I aim to provide work that best elevates a stand point that's either creative or promotional that stands by the ideals of the primary voice.
