- SKILLS: Hi I'm Evelyn and I specialise in Children's book illustration and design. ABOUT ME: I have experience illustrating and designing children's books, including one about mental health. This story brought to life the anchoring technique, which helps children with their big emotions. My illustrations are a mixture of traditional techniques blended with digital illustration. I like to use graphite pencils to create textured and unique linework, and I use gouache, watercolour and colouring pencils to add colourful textures. I then use Photoshop to add digital colouring and edits. I use InDesign to design the layout of each spread and make sure the pacing fits the story perfectly.
